my name is Asya Savelyeva.

 

I immigrated to Vancouver, B.C. in 2009 from Moscow and have lived here ever since. I am a University of British Columbia alumna with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and English Literature and am currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Anthropology, studying migration.

 

I write, act, learn, and often ask myself "out of all of that, what's important?". This blog is a way to synthesize what I've found to be the most important out of what I've learned so far, as well as to share that and some of my work with others.
